
Optometrist
Born and raised in Wichita, KS, Dr. Natalie Nguyen received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with Medical Emphasis and Minor in Chemistry at Wichita State University as well as an Associate’s degree in Business Administration at Cowley County Community College. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012 at the University of Missouri College of Optometry. There, she was inducted into the Gold Key Society for her extracurricular and community involvements during school and received an award for demonstrating excellence in Low Vision Clinic. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American and Ohio Optometric Association, and is licensed to practice Optometry in Ohio.
To diversify her skills in Optometry, Dr. Nguyen’s internship experiences included: Chicago Lighthouse (low vision), Saint Louis University Eye Institute (surgical co-management), Community Health Centers (underprivileged population), Broward Eye Care (contact lenses), Highline Vision Center (pediatrics/vision therapy), and the Wichita VA Hospital (ocular disease). Over the years, she has increasingly developed a niche in managing dry eyes and ocular surface diseases.
When not in clinic, Dr. Nguyen can be found giving RealEyes presentations to students throughout the Columbus and surrounding areas, volunteering her time in providing free children and adult vision screenings and providing pro bono eye examinations for those with limited access to eye care. Community involvement played a huge role in Dr. Nguyen’s upbringing with both giving and receiving, so she wanted to continue that throughout her career especially giving back to help shape the development of the younger generations’ future.
Dr. Nguyen relocated to Grove City, OH from Kansas City, KS in 2016. She loves to travel and when she is not back home visiting her family, she is working on her photography and photo editing skills. You might also catch her on Pinterest from time to time and working on DIY projects. But most of her free time is now spent with her husband and four children. She comes from a very large family and feels that it is important to develop a family relationship with her patients.

Dalyn Schepman, raised in Blacklick, OH, graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 2023. Now, she is a student at the University of Dayton, majoring in Health Sciences with a concentration of Integrative Physiology. In her time at UD, Dalyn has accomplished Dean’s List recognition, and loves being involved in the community. As a freshman, she was chosen for the position of Treasurer, Pre-PA (Physician Associates) Club. Also, she is involved in greek life where she is learning more on leadership and serving the community. Dalyn is a part of the University of Dayton Emergency Medical Services on campus, a 100% student run volunteer emergency medical services organization, where she is being trained on becoming a certified EMT. Dalyn is hoping to pursue PA school and become a PA in ophthalmology.
Dalyn joined Eye Co. Spring 2024. She is very interested in learning all she can about this speciality. Dalyn loves welcoming everyone who comes through the door with a smile and interacting with all patients. Dr. Nguyen has really opened Dalyn's eyes in gaining more appreciation for involvement in the community here in Columbus. When not in office, Dalyn might be found helping Dr. Nguyen distribute glasses to children in need or with Realeyes, going to schools educating children on the importance of eye care.
Dalyn is really big on family and enjoys any second she gets with being surrounded by the people she loves the most. With her grandma being one out of eight siblings and her grandpa one of eleven, there is always family around including while being at UD. She also enjoys traveling, staying active, many different genres of music, playing pickleball with friends, and sweet treats! She is excited to remain involved in the community and working with all at Eye Co.

Pai Na is currently studying at The Ohio State University -majoring in Health Sciences on track of Pre-Optometry with a minor in Biology. Pai comes from a large family and looks forward to growing with the Eye Co. team and building relationships within the community.
She enjoys working with patients and finding the perfect pair of glasses for them.
Her hobbies include reading in the warmth of the sun and playing badminton.

Jennifer Liang, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business. During her time at OSU, Jennifer was a member of Greek life, where she aimed to spread sisterhood, service, & cultural diversity to the community on campus. She was also heavily involved in the APIDA community as she participates in the Chinese American Student Association’s CNY Show, Vietnamese Student Association's Culture Show, etc. Moreover, she participated in I-DOC (Improving Diversity in Optometric Careers) the summer of 2023, where she was learned more about Optometry and how to be successful in the field. Jennifer aspires to continue her education by attending Optometry School and becoming an Optometrist
Jennifer's favorite part of being in the field of Optometry is knowing that she can make a positive difference to those around her. Being able to witness the work and patient interactions that Dr. Nguyen does as a doctor is a great inspiration for Jennifer to continue to reach for her goals. She also enjoys volunteering with programs such as Special Olympics & Realeyes that educate and provide eye care to individuals in the Columbus area.
Outside of Eye Co., Jennifer loves to surround herself with friends and family, and also owns two cats. She enjoys dancing, traveling, watching dramas, shopping, music, photography, a good matcha latte, and anything creative! Ask her about her favorite musicians or shows and she would love to tell you all about them!

Krisha Patel was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from The Ohio State University. During her undergraduate years, Krisha was actively involved on campus and in the community. She served on the Executive Board for the American Cancer Society, was involved with Youth for STEM Equity and continues to remain an active member today, and volunteered at Nationwide Children's Hospital. These experiences strengthened her passion for patient-centered care and solidified her decision to pursue a career in Optometry. She plans to continue her education in optometry school and become a Doctor of Optometry.
Krisha joined the Eye Co. with a deep appreciation for the impact quality vision care can have on a person's daily life. As an optometric technician, she finds it incredibly rewarding to guide patients through their visits and build meaningful connections with them. She values learning from Dr.Nguyen and the Eye Co. team and appreciates the office's commitment to both clinical excellence and community involvement, including programs like iSEE that provide eye care to children in the Columbus area. Being part of a team that prioritizes both precision in care and genuine connection with patients has futher affirmed her desire to pursue optometry.
Outside of the office, Krisha enjoys painting, exploring new coffee shops around Columbus, and spending quality time with friends and family. She values creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences both personally and professionally.

Katie Harris, born and raised in Washington Court House, Ohio, is a student at The Ohio State University, where she majors in Biology, on the Pre-Optometry track, and minors in Spanish. During her time at OSU, Katie is actively involved with the Biological Scieneces Scholars, Pre-Optometry Club, Eyes on Health, and PenPals. Katie aspires to pursue her love for Optometry by attending Optometry School and becoming an Optometrist.
Katie joined the Eye Co. team in Winter 2026. She finds joy in working with ocular disease patients and seeing their progress firsthand. She feels grateful to have the opportunity to work at a med spa with advanced equipment and empathetic staff!
Outside of Eye Co., you can find Katie hanging out with her family and friends. She loves pickleball, hiking, listening to music, and a yummy sweet treat. Her cat is her pride and joy, and she will gladly show you pictures of her! Additionally, Katie is a member of OSU's Athletic Band, where she plays piccolo. She enjoys the sporting events the Athletic Band takes her to, and is grateful for the people she has met along the way.
